Terms of Service
Please read these Terms carefully before using iTeache. By accessing or using our platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using iTeache (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, educators, and learners.
2. Description of Service
iTeache is an online marketplace that connects educators ("Teachers") with students and learners ("Students"). The Platform allows Teachers to create profiles, list courses and batch schedules, and communicate with prospective Students. iTeache does not itself provide educational services; it facilitates connections between independent educators and learners.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or 13 years old with parental consent) to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. iTeache reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Teacher Responsibilities
Teachers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they post, including course descriptions, qualifications, pricing, and scheduling information. Teachers must not misrepresent their credentials or expertise. Teachers agree not to engage in discriminatory, harassing, or abusive behavior toward Students or other users of the Platform.
5. Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for evaluating the suitability of any Teacher or course before engaging their services. iTeache does not verify the credentials of Teachers beyond what is displayed on their profiles. Students agree not to engage in any conduct that disrupts the educational experience or violates applicable laws.
6. Payments & Fees
Where in-platform payment processing is available, iTeache may charge a platform service fee on transactions. Applicable fees will be disclosed prior to any transaction. All payments are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated by reference. iTeache is not responsible for any disputes arising between Teachers and Students regarding payments made outside the Platform.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of iTeache or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Teachers retain ownership of the course content they create but grant iTeache a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) post false, misleading, or fraudulent content; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (d) attempt to circumvent iTeache's payment systems by conducting transactions off-platform; (e) scrape, crawl, or otherwise collect data from the Platform without permission; or (f) introduce malware or otherwise interfere with Platform security.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, iTeache shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. iTeache's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of ₹500 or the amount paid by you to iTeache in the six months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. iTeache does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Termination
iTeache reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
